WATCH YOUR STEP: the mice have free reign in the castle and are highly esteemed! Not to worry, they have the best of manners and only nibble from your plate once invited. Abel is my trusty yellow Labrador Retriever and, though he has every right to flaunt his bloodlines, you will find him quite down to earth. Unless, of course, your intentions are less than honourable, your motives not quite pure, or you happen to be unfortunate enough to be a man who has yet to be introduced. Gladly, he is a ladies man and while he will receive pats from almost any gentlewoman offering, his heart is for me alone. | ||||||||||||||||

Recently, a friend I haven't seen in a decade tracked me down from across the country using the internet. (Interesting that he couldn't get my e-mail address, but was given my home phone number. Beware netizens!) Be that as it may, he eventually asked me "THE" question: "ARE YOU MARRIED YET?" Meekly and almost apologetically, I informed him that I remain single. Mind you, I would happily rectify this situation and join the ranks of those enjoying wedded bliss, however, that requires the willing participation of a suitable man. Fickle creatures that they are, it is no small feat to discover such a one! Wait, what is this? A decree has been issued from the castle regarding this very matter: HERE YE, HERE YE! MEN OF GOOD WILL, BEING OF SEMI-SOUND MIND & CUTE BODY, HAVING FASHIONED A LIFE PLEASING TO GOD & PEERS, LET IT BE KNOWN TO YOU THIS DAY THAT THE PRINCESS OF THE ABOVE DEPICTED CASTLE IS IN SEARCH OF HER PRINCE. ANY SUCH PERSON HAVING KNOWLEDGE AS TO THE IDENTITY OR WHEREABOUTS OF SAID PRINCE WILL BE HANDSOMELY REWARDED UPON THE UNION OF THE PAIR. PER CHANCE, SHOULD YE BELIEVE YOURSELF TO IN FACT BE HIM WHO WAS PROMISED TO THE PRINCESS OF OLDE, THERE SHALL BE AMPLE OPPORTUNITY TO PROVE YOUR IDENTITY.
